Clive Jervis has won a pair of signed Ramires boots after
being selected in Friday's Chelsea Foundation Lottery
draw.
The die-hard Chelsea fan won the week's main prize while 10
others grabbed £10 each, and Steven Hutchinson secured a
free place inside our Soccer Schools.
'I got a text message while I was on holiday in France and
at first I thought it was a joke,'
explained Clive.
'But it was a great way to end the holiday. As the text
message said, it did bring a smile to my face!' Chelsea is the first football club
to utilise a fans' lottery to raise funds for charitable activities.
Money raised through the Chelsea Foundation Lottery
helps finance the club's community projects but Clive's
also hoping the boots will now go towards helping other
charities.
'I will keep hold of the boots until a good cause comes up,
like a charity auction, then I will donate them and hopefully
they can help raise more money for a worthy cause.
'Hopefully whoever buys them will then do the same thing
and pass them on to another good cause.'
